WTF is wrong with them? I cannot believe the state of my birth cannot get this right.

I now live in beautiful BC and am (finally) a citizen here. I am already married, but even if I weren't, Canada does not grant citizenship to spouses. A spouse would still have to apply for citizenship. Weird, huh?
