Well, speaking as an experienced napper... I have a room that faces east and southwest, so it's always sunny, and I use blinds. It keeps the whole room remarkably dark (although not entirely black). You can get plain, solid color ones for ten or fifteen bucks and then spruce 'em up with some mad sewing skills--either drapery across the top or full ones to pull completely across.
The door's tougher (although totally jealous of your set-up, it sounds gorgeous--wrap-around deck, woman!). Maybe Roman blinds? Or those vertical ones, maybe, and then do the same as above so it's all matching and such.
