I got the invite code in the middle of the week from Hell. But I need to post something here, so.

I just counted; I've got 52 LiveJournals bookmarked. Not friended, bookmarked. Almost all of them are journals of authors I love (and owe feedback to, but that's a different issue -- I think). I've been reading that way because "friending" seemed sorta-- presumptuous. Overly familiar. Untruthful.

But, oh, I'm subscribing like crazy.

I'm not giving access while I'm doing it. (I mean, if anybody who doesn't have it wants access, ask, it's yours; but really I'm a reader, not a writer, and I generally post more about personal stuff than fannish stuff, and I almost never lock anything anyway, so, y'know.... *shrugs*)

I'm so glad to see you posting again. In a weird bit of synchronicity, you'd been on my mind for a day or two before you started, and I was hoping all was well with you and yours.

Argh, this week I have no time. You've posted things I want to reply to (with something more than "great vid," "cute kid," "ennui sucks") but I don't know when I'll be able to play catch-up. Argh, again.

(I know that the DW/LJ interface is going to be permeable and easy to cross, but I'm still immensely pleased by the number of LJ folks I'm finding on DW. Especially since it's still pre-launch.)
